Poets have the power to give life to concepts. They can control them too, but not always very well. This is a very personal story of the struggle between a living idea and its master, and between two great civilizations.
I had some hope early on for EPIC MAGIC, but this story actually explores the weight and consequence of magic. It felt very unique. I was put in the odd position of wanting all the characters to succeed, which was impossible, since they sought opposite outcomes. The characters were all just so real. I’m excited to read the rest of the books in this series.
