Book Review
Only Diana Gabaldon’s gripping writing and addictive characters could make adventures on the high seas remotely entertaining for me. I give it a slow pace warning based on my own conversations with other fans of the series, but for me, this book just doesn’t quit from the word go. So many emotions, so many crazy adventures — my major problem was having to set it aside to feed my family dinner. As ever, I give my warning about extremely graphic medical procedures and possible triggering violence.
